Born perfect he never had to evolve. He's gone by many names over the history of man, so many in fact he can't remember them all. Among a few of them are Draculea or Dracula and Gilgamesh. His first conquer was of the land of Sumer, where he took leadership of the people and his kingdom grew to the point other kingdoms sent armies to destroy him which he defeated. His control over the powers he has grew more and more everyday until he learned how to pass on a modicum of his strength, immortality and abilities on to others. His reign in Sumeria ended when King Etana defeated his army in battle til he was the only one left. From there he went on, joining in any battle he came across, leaving a trail of blood and horrific destruction wherever he went. He fought the Cushites, Akkadians, Sumerians, Assyrians, Hyksos, Egyptians, Babylonians, Israelites, Canaanites, Persians, Greeks and countless others throughout history. From China to Norway there wasn't a soul that didn't know of or hear about the treachery that was Drake. As time passed on more and more vampires begin to appear through thoughtless turning. The gift he had bestowed upon his first children was tainted beyond repair. The newer ones were so contaminated through incestuous inbreeding that they grew weaknesses to sunlight and garlic. They began to attack the Pureblood, his first children out of jealousy. He grew tired of all of them, the halfbreeds for their disrespect. And the Purebloods for their fear of the lesser beings that hunted them. She he went undergroudn, returning to his homeland of Sumeria to sleep until his kind had cured themselves of their stupidities or overcome their weaknesses. Or just wiped themselves out completely. Either way he was in for a long sleep. Until Danica Talos and her band of misfits awoke him after sleeping merely three centuries. It disgusted him to know he'd been awaken for the reason of getting rid of one lone hunter. His kind had become so weak that merely one single being terrified them to this point. The Twelve Tribes of Erebus derived from his blood line. Other than the Faustinas, Upier and Von Esper he believes the rest to be particularly useless. And seeing as all his children were massacred by their own "offspring" even the Dragonetti's are not pure bloods, just a pathetic result of weak vampires procreating. Now Drake seeks to rebuild his kingdom, create a better race of vampire through his blood. A race like his first children, only he would be the one to determine who was worthy to be vampires, and they would only be turned by him. When the Daystar was used on him, rather than kill him it put him in a sort of comatose state, weakening him for a time. Upon awaking in the morgue (alternate ending of movie, his body morphed there) he disposed of the doctors and technicians there. He returned to his homeland to rest and rebuild his strength as the Daystar attacked his body like a virus. While regenerating his health he planned and strategized how to rid himself of the disease his people had become. Once his army is in place they will have but one goal in mind, to decimate the current population of vampires derived from his blood lines. Ultra violet rays, sunlight, silver and garlic are said to have a stronger effect on these vampires. Cianteto The Cianteto Tribe is from Mexico, supposedly raised from the dead by the same witches that gave Montezuma his immense power. A warrior caste, they have the strength of ten men and regenerate limbs lost in battle. Dragonetti The Dragonetti Tribe are influential sorcerers dating back to pre-Medieval times, who were reincarnated and returned to Europe. They consider themselves as the first pure bred vampires. Faustinas The Faustinas Tribe are believed to have gained their “pure blood” status by practicing Santería. Along with physical strength, they also can control minds, matter and the elements. Faustinas can only be terminated with a silver stake though the heart and must also be decapitated or they will be reborn with more power than they possessed before. The House of Erebus has twelve members and eleven tribes, two seats being held by the Faustinas identical twin female leaders. Santería information Kobejitsu The members of the Kobejitsu Tribe are proficient assassins known as the Death Ninjas. Strong and agile possessing unusual stamina, the Kobejitsu can be identified by their red, bulging eyes. They are the only members of the House of Erebus that do not cast a shadow. Lemure The Lemure Tribe of Rome were originally evil spirits that inhabited corpses and turned the dead into immortal night stalkers. Known for their ability to seduce their prey, they are beautiful denizens of the dark and frequent underground raves and Goth clubs. Ligaroo This Ligaroo Tribe is from France. During the night, they shed their skin, turning into a ball of fire to methodically stalk their prey. They feed only from the jugular and are the only Tribe that hoards blood for use later. Lobishomen The Lobishomen Tribe are linked to werewolves from Brazil. It is believed that the original Lobishomen were killed by a werewolf and returned to the earth as a vampire. Given the number of deaths attributed to werewolves, the Lobishomen is the largest clan in the House of Erebus. Pallintine The Tribe of Pallintine hails from the Baltic region and are some of the wealthiest industrialists in the Vampire Nation. Their vast wealth has allowed them to blend into society somewhat invisibily. Upier The Upier Tribe are born with a full set of teeth and razor sharp fangs. Originally from Eastern Europe, these vampires are particularly lethal and feared because of their ability to hone their deadly skills at an early age. Von Esper The Von Esper Tribe are the most violent and ruthless members in the House of Erebus. They are efficient assassins and are easily swayed or involved when bloodshed is to be taken. Info taken from Wikipedia Drake was born in ancient Sumeria. The Babylonians worshipped him as Dagon and now they call him Drake. After suffering a fatal wound in battle, Drake underwent a satanic ritual to become immortal. After the ritual took place, he was transformed into Dracula, Lord of All Vampires. After several thousand years of wandering the world "siring" other humans to his cause, he grew restless and built a temple, where it is said he went to sleep from a world he´d become disgusted with. Nobody knows the specifics of his origin, but he was the first of his kind, according to Hannibal King, and he was born perfect, with no direct weakness, as other vampires have. He is like Blade, in that he can walk in daylight and is not vulnerable to silver or garlic, though he does not age like a human as Blade does. Drake was "resurrected" by a cadre of vampire followers to help them in their plan to kill Blade. Given Drake's age and origin, he, more than any other Vampire that followed, can harness a much greater and more dynamic range of abilities. He possesses unnatural strength, much greater than that of Blade, and also incredible speed. Like those he sired he is capable of leaping great distances and seems to be knowledgeable of sword fighting techniques, even rivaling Blade himself. Drake's true power though is derived from his origin as the first of his species, The manipulation of energies which lead to his first resurrection left Drake with two forms; human, and a demonic alter ego. In this form Drake is much stronger, resilient to all forms of damage and much taller than his human self. He also possesses very keen senses, allowing him to catch an arrow mid-flight.
